Out now: VETRA – “Unbound” ✨ I’m so happy to finally share our new EP Unbound with you!

With VETRA, I find myself moving freely between tradition, improvisation, and newly written music — a space where the sounds I grew up with in Valdres meet a more open, jazz-influenced landscape. Playing both the violin and the Hardanger fiddle in this setting feels like speaking two closely connected languages, constantly shaping and inspiring each other.

Unbound reflects this journey. It’s music built on movement, rhythm, and the energy between us as musicians — shifting between grounded folk melodies and more open, atmospheric moments. For me, it’s about exploring what happens when you allow the music to breathe and grow beyond fixed forms.
